ISIC CHECK is a technical solution for partners of GTS ALIVE provided free of charge and used to validate the ISIC, ITIC, IYTC and ALIVE passes. For ISIC passes, you can also verify if the holder is a student.

ISIC (International Student Identity Card) is the only globally acknowledged identification pass for students of elementary schools, high schools, colleges and universities. In the Czech Republic, ISIC is released by GTS ALIVE – the appointed licensing authority for the territory of the Czech Republic. In addition to ISIC, you can also validate the ITIC pass for pedagogical personnel, IYTC for people aged under 26 and the ALIVE pass.

API ISIC CHECK represents a technical solution for integration of web services used to verify ISIC, ITIC and ALIVE passes into systems, programs or applications. Above all, this technical solution is intended for e-shops, web page verifications and check-out or dispatching systems based on a template PHP script.

ISIC CHECK is intended mostly for physical stores and contact points, which involve the physical verification of ISIC, ITIC and ALIVE. ISIC CHECK is simply downloaded and installed into the computer or tablet on the site and then used as the usual application.

Yes, it is possible. Connect the external company with GTS ALIVE if you wish to utilize ISIC CHECK. We will do everything we can in order to establish the cooperation successfully.

For correct operation of API ISIC CHECK system-wise, it is necessary to integrate verifications as well as transactions. Verifications are used to verify all types of ISIC, ITIC, IYTC, ALIVE and potential student status of the holder. Transactions are information regarding the usage of the passes at a partners point.

First and foremost, ISIC CHECK requires an active internet connection. ISIC CHECK can be installed on a computer or tablet with Windows 7 or later. ISIC CHECK cannot be installed on iOS or Android systems.

The reader requires Windows 7 SP1, 8.1, 10, Win Server 2008+ or Win Embedded 7+. The reading range of the reader is up to 80 mm for EM-Marine chips and 40 mm for Mifare chips.
What are the conditions for using ISIC CHECK?
In addition to the technical requirements specified above, it is necessary to have a cooperation contract signed with GTS ALIVE.

If the POS is controlled by touch exclusively, ISIC CHECK displays its own keyboard directly on the screen, allowing the verification to be performed.

Custom restriction setup is a question of the contractual relationship and is defined in the cooperation contract. The restriction setup is provided by GTS ALIVE according to the partner’s requirements.

Metrics can be displayed after logging in to the DM (Discount manager) accessible by any partner. This web service can be used to check and re-track individual verifications and transactions.

The card is probably chip-less or damaged. To verify this pass, use the same method as when verifying without a reader. Bring up the verification manually using one of the methods described in the user manual and enter the pass license number.
